Visit the Brewshed
The Silver Bark Brewshed is the perfect venue to sit down and take to time to get to know our premium beers a little better. Based in our residential brewing shed, it offers a private atmosphere where you can enjoy a tasting platter or your favourite beer accompanied with a light snack.
Tours and tastings do require a booking, please contact us to arrange your visit.
Get to Know Me
Starting with a single home brewing kit for my personal enjoyment, to now delivering my beers across the hills and getting ready to take the next big step. I've been pursuing my passion for brewing beer for more than nineteen years and enjoy nothing more than seeing faces light up when they taste a perfect beer.

My passion for beer started more than nineteen years ago when I started my adventure in brewing. Like many brewers, I started out with a typical small home brew kit. However I quickly I got bored with this set up, so I designed and built my first 35L batch all-grain system. After many successful brews with this small system, I decided an upgrade was in order.
Our family was growing so we made the move to Mount Barker to a bigger house and block (had to be big enough for the hop yard and a bigger shed!). Here I built my new 75L batch all grain system which served me well for about 5 years.

Belgian Ale - AIBA Gold Award
Our Belgian Ale is a lighter interpretation of the classic Belgian ales. Golden in colour and a moderate bitterness. Belgian yeast provides a pleasant clove phenolic to compliment the delicate floral finish.![]()
Pilsener - RABCA Bronze Award
Our Pilsener is inspired by the traditional European classics. Medium bitterness and a crisp floral finish from generous amounts noble hop varieties. ![]()
Stout - RABCA silver Award
Our Stout is robust and rich from loads of crystal and roasted malts. Full bodied with a medium bitterness, this is a hearty beer to be savoured.
